March 6 -AWANA soup and sandwich dinner with the parents of the Clubbers. A soup-er time was had by all!

April 17 – AWANA Easter egg hunt, craft and finger foods after club, 5:00. Lots of good food and great games! A fun time for all!

May 31 – Ladies’ Day, 10:00 AM  – 2:00 PM. Lunch will be served. Our “topic” is Project Stress Relief.  We’ll learn to retrain our God-given ability to live well in light of the stressors that life can bring, and faithfully live the healthy and whole life God desires for us.  What a wonderful way to spend a cold, rainy day – great teaching, some movement, good food, great fellowship and sharing!!!

June 6-7 – several of our ladies are going to LYFE Women’s Conference at First Baptist Church, Johnson City, NY. What a wonderful time of being refreshed and filled! June 12 – AWANA Honor Thy Parents dinner and end of year Awards Ceremony. A great time of fellowship! The children earned a lot of awards! Each child was given their own Bible to take home!

July 13-17 – Vacation Bible School. 5:30 – 8:00 PM. For all children aged 4 to just completed 5th grade. Wonder Junction: Marvel At Jesus. Live For His Glory! Dinner, Bible Lesson, Games, Craft, Singing! What a great week we had learning of Jesus’ love for us!!!

July 20 – Outdoor Service and dish to pass BBQ. A wonderful service with great food and fellowship and a game of horse shoes.

August 17 – Outdoor Service and dish to pass BBQ. Another great service with great food, fellowship and a game of Baggo!

August 23 – Old Franklin Day. We will be offering a free pancake breakfast in the morning and free root beer floats in the afternoon. We had many wonderful people visit us for both the breakfast and the root beer floats! Great conversations with people from the community and surrounding area!

September 25 – Our AWANA program starts for the school year. Thursdays, after school – 5:00. If you are interested in having your child(ren) attend please email us at cbchurch@cbchurchfranklin.com.

October 18  – Men’s Target Shooting and Dinner. The men will go target shooting in the afternoon. The ladies will have dinner for them at the church at 5:00. The men had a great time target shooting, then they were served a delicious steak dinner by the ladies of the church.

November 8 – OCC shoe box packing party. We packed 80 boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. The kids had a great time filling the boxes!!!

December 13 – Christmas Stroll. We will host community caroling on the front steps of our church with our AWANA kids.

December 24 – Christmas Eve Service, 5:30 Fellowship Time, 6:00 Service.
